As a multi-purpose tool, the laser level is widely used in the fields of mechanical equipment manufacturing, sheet metal processing and thick steel plate positioning. It is also suitable for various industrial production equipment to play an auxiliary positioning role. In installation engineering and construction, it is also an indispensable assistant to ensure accurate positioning.
Its operation process is as follows:
Before starting the laser level, find the power switch on the side. Whether it is a three-line or five-line laser level, it is usually equipped with an automatic calibration system. The initial setting is completed by observing whether the water drop is located in the circle. The instrument will sound an alarm when it detects an uneven surface until the horizontal state is achieved, and the alarm stops.
When measuring, place the level close to the measured surface, wait patiently for the bubble to be completely still, and then read the data. It is worth noting that the inclination value displayed by the level is based on one meter. If you need to calculate the inclination of the actual length L, you can use the formula: actual inclination value = display value L error grid number.
To ensure measurement accuracy, it is very important to calibrate the level for the first time or after long-term non-use. The specific steps involve placing the instrument on a stable and roughly horizontal platform, recording the reading on one side as the zero point, then rotating the instrument 180 degrees to reset it, and reading the value on the same side again. The difference is half of the zero deviation. If the deviation exceeds the allowable range, the special screws or nuts should be carefully adjusted to the qualified range. Non-specified adjustment parts should not be changed at will, and the contact surfaces before and after adjustment should be kept clean. After the adjustment, the relevant parts should be tightened. Although the operation of the laser level may seem complicated, every step is related to the accuracy of the measurement. In terms of safety, remember to avoid direct laser exposure to the eyes, pay attention to protecting the built-in sensitive components, and comply with relevant electrical safety regulations to ensure that the operation process is both efficient and safe.
